From a Wyoming LLC to a Specialized Firm Built Entirely for Independent Financial Advisors
Advanced Global Research was incorporated in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2011. The focus was narrow by design from the start: marketing programs built specifically for independent financial advisors in the United States and Canada. The thesis was that advisors needed qualified prospects in the room, not just registrations, and that no existing provider was delivering that distinction with any consistency.
The early years were methodical. We ran campaigns market by market, refined the targeting approach, built compliance review processes that worked inside every major dealer network, and developed a seminar execution system that removed the logistical burden from the advisor entirely. Word spread through referral. By the time we crossed the 500 campaign mark, advisors were coming to us specifically because a colleague had used us.
Over the years, two patterns became impossible to ignore. First, advisors were sitting on pipelines full of prospects no one was following up with, while spending thousands every month buying new leads. Second, the way prospects were finding advisors was shifting fast, with AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity quietly becoming the new front door. We built operations and AI search programs to address both, and brought them under one roof alongside seminars.
Today the firm works across three connected levers (operations, AI search, and seminars) with a small team of specialists, serving a deliberately limited number of clients so every engagement receives the attention it requires to deliver results worth talking about.

Advanced Global Research LLC is registered in Cheyenne, Wyoming as a marketing and consulting entity. Initial work spans general digital marketing services for small and mid-size businesses across multiple industries.
First Campaigns Inside an Advisor's Practice
The team begins running campaigns inside an independent advisor's practice in Oakville, Ontario. Every channel is tested: door to door visits, welcome packages for newcomers, Facebook ads, LinkedIn outreach, direct mail. Most produce marginal results. Educational seminars produce dramatically better outcomes. The first seminar produces 17 appointments from 43 attendees.
Methodology Codified
After two years of refinement, the operational pattern becomes clear: pre-event qualification, in-event presentation framework, and post-event follow-up sequences are the three phases that determine outcomes. The methodology is documented and refined into a repeatable system. Additional Canadian advisors are onboarded as clients.
Smart Seminars Launches
Smart Seminars (smartseminars.io) is launched as the dedicated seminar marketing arm of Advanced Global Research, focused exclusively on independent financial advisors. The methodology refined over four years is now offered to advisors across Canada and the United States. Compliance review processes are formalized for Manulife, RBC, BMO Nesbitt Burns, IG Wealth, and other major dealer networks.
Pandemic Pivot to Digital
In-person seminars pause globally. The firm pivots to digital lead generation, building out SEO and paid media programs as standalone services for advisor clients. The pause sharpens our view that advisors need a complete digital and in-person system, not just one channel.
AI Search Program Developed
The AI Search Optimization (AISO) methodology is developed and rolled out to active advisor clients. One of the first structured systems for ensuring independent advisors appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews when prospects ask for advisor recommendations in their city.
Operations Lever Added
After watching too many advisors lose revenue to broken follow-up systems, AGR formalizes Operations as a third lever. Three connected services now serve advisors end to end: Operations to convert the pipeline you already have, AI Search for long-term inbound visibility, and Seminars for high-trust outbound prospect generation.
